Dear readers,
I know it’s been awhile. And that could be said about so many things. But for our family of travelers, this week has been our first time really back traveling since everything shut down last March. We’ve had two driving trips to Minnesota to see family for a birthday and a communion but otherwise we’ve stayed put. In the past few months my son has started lobbying for us to “go stay in a hotel somewhere fun”. First he was really trying for Disney World but we said not now (which admittedly saddens me with the 50th celebration going on but we are hoping for next year). So we finally agreed that we would consider taking a trip and decided that the beach sounded good.
Anyhow, our time at the beach is sadly ending soon, so as I gather my thoughts we’ll have a few posts about travel during COVID and the current environment. We hope you and your families are staying safe and we hope that we can all get things back to “normal soon”. Thanks for reading!
