Village style Mangai Meen Kuzambu


             Hi foodies welcome to Kaviya’s kitchen blog my name is Kaviya Sivanandam today’s recipe is village style meen kuzhambu.It infused with tangy tamarind it can be served with idli or dosa as well as steamed with boiled rice.

                  Preparation time   : 10 mins

                  Cook time                :  20 mins 

                  Total time               :  30 mins 

                         Protein    :  22 grams 

                        Calories  :  100 calories 

                    


Ingredients:

1. Fish   –  1 kg

2. Onion  –  2

3. Tomato  – 2

4. Vadavam   – 1 spoon

5. Green chilli    – 6 

6. Mangai  – 3 

7. Chilli powder – 2 spoon (depend upon your taste)

8. Malli powder – 2 spoon

9. Tamarind – Medium size 

10.Salt

Method:

1. Take one orange size Tamarind in one cup of hot water for 15 mins.

2. Strain the juice and set aside the tamarind juice.


3. Add tamarind juice in the bowl add salt,chilli powder,malli powder and green chilli.


4. In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil add vadavam,onion,tomato,and curry leaves fry everything with ladle.



5. After it comes into brown color  add tamarind mixture  then add Mangai.


6. Add fish

7. Leave it for 15 mins

8. Tasty village style mangai meen kuzhambu is ready.



9. Ready to serve with rice.
