The staff at Bisma Cottages Ubud are helpful and ready to help with any queries. They arranged for our laundry to be done at a very reasonable price. They can also recommend places to eat, nearby ATMs, and help you organise transport.
The water/tea station near the reception was a great idea for guests staying in the cottages. Make sure you try the local honey; it was delicious!
Jalan Bisma Information
One of the best things about staying at Bisma Cottages Ubud is its prime location on Jalan Bisma. Unlike the busier roads in central Ubud, Jalan Bisma offers less traffic and is easy to walk around. From the doorstep at Bisma Cottages, you’re just a short walk to many of Ubud’s top family attractions. Early mornings are the best time to wander and take in the views of Jl Bisma.
Jalan Bisma is also home to cafes and restaurants with kid-friendly menus, fresh juices, and open garden spaces where children can play. Whether it’s a casual breakfast spot, an ice cream treat, or a relaxed dinner venue, you’ll find plenty of welcoming options on Jalan Bisma.
Why we love to stay in Ubud with kids
Ubud might be best known for yoga, art, and rice terraces—but for families, it’s also one of Bali’s most magical destinations. We love staying in Ubud with kids because it offers the perfect mix of nature, culture, and gentle adventure in a safe, welcoming, and laid-back setting. We also love avoiding the heavy traffic of exploring Ubud on day trips.
Early morning and evening are my favourite times in Ubud. The traffic is calm, and the views are magnificent before the tourists arrive for the day.
Ubud offers opportunities to relax, enjoy yoga, sound healing, shopping and has fantastic restaurants. Hire a nanny and thank me later!
