Los Angeles received a powerful performance on Sunday night when Wu-Tang Clan took over the Crypto.com Arena for their “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” LA tour stop. Supported by Run the Jewels, the lineup will be revered for years to come. The show marked a rare moment with all surviving original members of Wu-Tang Clan on stage, reminding fans why the group remains one of the most influential forces in hip-hop.
Opening the night, Run the Jewels, who had just celebrated their 10-year anniversary shows, paid homage to the Wu while acknowledging the ongoing tensions in our city of Los Angeles, setting a respectful and energetic tone for what was about to ensue.
Wu-Tang Clan took over the stage, starting with RZA echoing the sentiment of solidarity during his introduction, addressing the crowd with words of reflection. Then, with precision and intensity, Wu-Tang burst into their set with “Bring da Ruckus,” followed by a rapid-fire run through early classics like “Clan in da Front”, peak moment “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta F’ Wit,” “Protect Ya Neck,” amongst many favorites. For all present, this was a visual and sonic feast.
Saturday’s show wasn’t just a performance; it was a reminder of Wu-Tang’s lasting impact and legacy. From their Las Vegas residency to this upcoming global farewell, the Wu is moving with purpose. With Run the Jewels joining them for the full tour, and never-before-played tracks on deck, The Final Chamber promises more than nostalgia—it offers one last chance to witness a cultural phenomenon in full force.
