This book really threw me for a loop when I started it. I expected it to be significantly darker than it was for some reason, instead I got something quirky. sarcastic and light-hearted even when it comes to darker themes. It’s funny and I wasn’t at all expecting that, but I think I’m loving it all the more because of it. The romance is absolutely slow burn, I’m over half way through and it’s only just started to creep from hate to something more, so I’m really excited to see where it goes.
One Final Turn was the perfect ending to the series, I laughed, I cried and yelped with joy at the ending. Fateless was a little disappointing. It felt really rushed and just lacked development in a lot of places, that being said I think readers you enjoy YA would like this one. How to Lose a Lord in Ten Days was hilarious, filled me with second hand-embarrassment and I enjoyed every single second of it.
I’m really not sure what I’m aiming to pick up next. These are the three I have left on my TBR, I’m apparently in a bit of a romance funk atm, so it could be one of these, or something off my backlist. Who knows?
