The world renowned Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London unveils its exclusive guest shift tour of the most celebrated bars across Asia
This February and March, Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London, No. 37 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024, will be visiting the best bars in Asia for an exclusive week of guest shifts. The team will be taking over Zest in Seoul, DarkSide in Hong Kong, and Jigger & Pony in Singapore, showcasing four new cocktails featuring Remy Cointreau to give the exclusive first look at its new menu launching on 1st April.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience Scarfes Bar’s unique flair, innovative techniques and unerring sense of fun outside of London, through its award-winning mixology in the continent’s best bars. On 27th February, the team will visit Zest in Seoul, No. 2 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, and renowned for its innovative and sustainable approach to mixology. On 2nd March, the sister property Rosewood Hong Kong and its refined resident bar DarkSide, No. 17 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, will host the bar with its meticulously executed decor, and impressive outdoor terrace overlooking the hotel’s harbourfront location. For the final event during BCB Singapore on 4th March, Scarfes Bar will take over Jigger & Pony, No. 3 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, known for its convivial hospitality and respect for classic cocktails.
Throughout the takeover tour, Scarfes Bar will be showcasing its exclusive new cocktails, created by Director of Bars Andy Loudon and his expert mixology team, using their home-made cordials, ferments and distillates which are created within their laboratory in London. The cocktails created showcasing Remy Cointreau spirits include, Naked Italian, King For A Day, Holy Grail and The Truth At Last, allowing guests to experience Scarfes Bar’s five-star hospitality outside of London.
Scarfes Bar, located a stone’s throw away from Covent Garden, is named after the renowned British artist and caricaturist Gerald Scarfe whose original artwork adorns the walls, and evokes a convivial atmosphere. Its current menu ‘From Scratch’, showcases 22 cocktails which return to the fundamental principles of mixology, to explore the essential DNA of the classics with the inimitable Scarfes Bar flare.
