The most recent EP from Washington D.C.-based artist Rebel Rae was released just over a week ago.
Titled Momentum, the project contains 5 amazing tracks, including the exuberant, 90s-influenced neo-soul tune, “Dont Let the Smile Fool Ya”. I’d say “Song For You”, with its sweet, heartfelt lyrics, is the perfect first track.
Rebel showcases her great lyrical ability and versatility throughout the self-released EP. One can notice her various musical influences. Altogether, Momentum is an impressive mini-album from Rae.
