Anna Wolf set to embark on nationwide South African tour this April – Texx and the City

London-based Anna Wolf, a magnetic force in the alternative music scene, is returning to South Africa for her much-anticipated Dear Daddy Tour, following her latest single of the same name.

Co-written with South African music stalwarts Hunter Kennedy (Fokofpolisiekar and Die Heuwels Fantasties), the song explores the complexities of human relationships and healing – a heartfelt reminder that hope can emerge from life’s darkest moments.

Known for her haunting soundscapes that blend romance and darkness, Anna Wolf captivates live audiences with an artistry that has been described as the love child of Sia and Johnny Cash. In fact, “Dear Daddy” was recorded in the legendary Cash Cabin Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, Johnny Cash’s former studio space.

The recording process was further elevated by the involvement of Trey Call and Joseph Cash, whose contributions helped bring Wolf’s vision to life.

The Dear Daddy Tour will blend this new body of work with Wolf’s past hits, including award-winning tracks “Wolf”, “Step Back”, “Why Don’t You Love Me”, “Can I Get High On You”, and the critically acclaimed “Shaped Like A Gun”.

With emotionally charged vocals and storytelling, Wolf’s performances are known for being immersive, truly visceral experiences. Her signature drumming and hypnotic stage presence take audiences on a journey of self-discovery, leaving them inspired and questioning what lies beyond their own limits.
