Edrington Names Company Veteran Speirs As New Managing Director, Americas
Edrington has named Jeremy Speirs as the company’s new managing director for Edrington Americas. He will take over from Paul Ross in July. Speirs has been with Edrington since 2002 and has served in a variety of senior roles across the company’s global footprint. Most recently, he’s served as regional managing director for global travel retail, including overseeing the launch of the Macallan’s the Colour Collection and the brand’s 200th anniversary.
Speirs will be based in the company’s New York office. While Ross is stepping away from his role as managing director he will continue to work with Edrington as a senior advisor. Edrington has U.S. volume above 500,000 cases, led by The Macallan at over 200,000 cases. Globally, Edrington’s sales have been around $1.5 billion in recent years.
“It has been a privilege to lead the Americas organization from its inception and witness its transformation into the ultra-premium business it is today,” said Ross. “I wish Jeremy all the best in his new role and have no doubt that under his leadership, the Americas region will continue to thrive.”—Shane English
