After a decades-long quest to understand and master the wonders of citrus, Cointreau has revealed the fruits of its labour with the launch of its Citrus Series. An exclusive collection of citrus distillates specifically dreamed up for bartenders looking to elevate their craft.
This highly limited-edition series celebrates the diversity of citrus, bottling their essence and inspiring endless possibilities.
As the very first opus of the collection the Citrus Series, the Corsican Pomelo distillate, is a testament to Cointreau’s mastery of citrus and also an embodiment of Corsican heritage.
Cointreau Master Distiller, Carole Quinton knew that she needed to start with a remarkable citrus. Through years of research, she found Jean Do Valentini, a third- generation fruit farmer in the plains of Aléria, on the eastern coast of Corsica. Through a combination of complementary expertise a beautiful collaboration was born bringing the expression of an authentic terroir from orchard to glass.
