This is quite special: the owners behind Auberge, Bistro de la Mer, and De Juwelier offer a special four- or five-course menu on Mother’s Day at all three restaurants. And choosing between them is quite a challenge. At Bistro de la Mer, the focus is, as usual, on fish, with dishes like crab with jalapeno, asparagus with eel, and Rossini-style monkfish. At De Juwelier, you can enjoy dishes such as artichoke barigoule, Holsteiner bavette tartare, and roasted langoustines. Samen fietsen door Shanghai 🥰! Met stip een van de mooiste nieuwe herinneringen die we deze meivakantie maakten.
China; je was GE-WEL-DIG! Ontelbaar veel kommen met noodles, iedere dag bao buns en dumplings in alle vormen en maten 🥟, de lekkerste Peking duck ever, panda’s 🐼 en dwalen door de Verboden Stad en over de Chinese muur.

MINI VLOG vanuit Hong Kong! Wat was het genieten om hier weer terug te zijn 🐉. Al etend de stad door, waar ik misschien wel 10 x geweest ben, maar waar altijd iets nieuws te ontdekken is.
Omdat de laatste keer in HK al een tijd geleden was wilde ik ook graag naar wat klassiekers terug die we niet in Nederland hebben! Dus de 1e avond gingen we direct na het inchecken door voor een easy dinner bij DTF 🔥 op loopafstand van ons hotel.
Geen trending audio, wel real time verslag van onze reis zonder al te veel te editten ☺️. We zijn namelijk iedere dag de hele dag op pad en zo in het moment aan het reizen. Nieuwe lievelings van het team achter Metro!
Ik neem je mee naar @caferestaurantsandberg waar je 7 dagen per week kunt lunchen in Amsterdam alsof het weekend is.
En zo werd een doodgewone woensdag opeens een little Friday ☺️ met 🦪, 🥂 en meer 🍾.
Dagkaart meer dan goedgekeurd, nu snel nog een keer terug voor de avondkaart en het bewonderen van de lichtval als het gaat schemeren. 🥺

🍴Ga uitgebreid tafelen bij @BarBrutalBarcelona.
🍴Proef het typisch Catalaanse dessert Pan con Chocolate bij bijvoorbeeld Tapas24. Thanks @barcelonachocolatetours for recommending!
DO
✨Bekijk Modernist Architecture, zoals Casa Batlló of Casa Fuster.
✨Drink een glaasje vermouth voor het diner.
✨Dwaal door de wijk El Born.
✨Koop eetbare Catalaanse souvenirs, zoals jamón en romesco-saus.
✨Ga naar het strand!

Tips voor jou van deze maand so far 🖤!
1, 2 & 3) Zet een bezoek aan het @stedelijkmuseum maar op je lijstje. Rondje langs de nieuwe Kiefer tentoonstelling en daarna koffie bij het nieuwe @fonda.amsterdam (als je Museumkaart hebt kun je gratis naar het café op de 1e).
4) Daarna uitgebreid lunchen bij @caferestaurantsandberg (ook nieuw, van het team achter Metro in Noord!). Dikke aanrader!
5) Eerste soft serve van dit jaar 🍦.
6, 7 & 8) Spontaan op woensdagmiddag naar het strand en bitterballen en vino in de zon bij @republiekbloemendaal
9 & 10) Saturdays well spent: met de boys naar Het Rijk Der Farao’s bij @fabriquedeslumieres.
11) Ik bestel bijna nooit meer eten, want: valt altijd tegen… Maar voor @sushi.fanatics maak ik een uitzondering. 🥢
12 & 13) Kleine reminder om op zondag vaker te gaan wandelen (buiten de stad) en gezellig ergens iets drinken. Hier zijn we op de heide bij Blaricum. Daarna wat gedronken bij de @deeendracht.blaricum op het terras in de zon (maar geen foto, haha). Tips voor andere leuke terrassen in de natuur welkom!
14) Lunchen met @moniquevanloon bij het nieuwe @bistrofeline.
15 & 16) HELLO BARCELONA! Net aangekomen voor een week in Catalonië om een nieuwe Little Black Book te maken voor @catalunyaexperience. Pinch me! ☺️ Het trapte af op de rooftop van @mo_barcelona. Uiteraard met Cava 🍾 en heel veel lekker eten. Stay tuned voor een weekupdate uit Barcelona volgende week!
