Life-Changing Leadership: The Next Chapter

These past few months have brought some of the most positive change we have experienced in many years. For over 24 years, we have been providing training, leadership development, and coaching to a wide variety of clients globally. We’ve certainly seen a lot of change over the years!

Our New World Leadership® program had its humble beginnings at our Portage Avenue location in Winnipeg, Manitoba back in 2007. Just before that, our founder, Yvonne, gave a presentation at the newly built Inn at the Forks hotel in 2006. At the time, her ideas on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and personal accountability were clearly not at the forefront of organizational design.

This did not deter her. Instead, it only fueled her unwavering commitment to shift corporate culture toward love, compassion, and kindness as essential leadership attributes. It was the beginning of her journey in creating a brand-new sector: providing organizations with specifically focused leadership development and coaching.

Research, science, and education became core components of our team’s commitment. We needed to profoundly understand what it meant to be human. If we wanted to help unlock great human performance, we fundamentally needed to understand what it is to be human. The human sciences and positive psychology became our cornerstone.

Yvonne remembers referencing the “Leadership Development Sector” in a post many years ago. Several people commented back, “What is that? It doesn’t exist.” To Yvonne, it was absolutely its own sector—and if it wasn’t yet, it soon would be if she had anything to say about it!

We lost track many years ago of which version of New World Leadership® we are currently facilitating. There have been countless revisions since those beginnings in 2007, but we are honored that it continues to be truly life-changing.

Yvonne has always said that we need to stay at least five years ahead of personal and corporate evolution to truly be of service. We are so proud to know that for over 20 years, we have been preparing leaders for this exact moment in time—for this dynamic and unprecedented change.

It isn’t coming; it is here now!
