Grist House Craft Brewery, currently based in Millvale, is expanding in Butler County by opening a new taproom location in Saxonburg, PA at Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market located on W Water Street. The new location is in partnership with Pocha by Kye-Won, an authentic Korean style eatery. The taproom and kitchen will officially open for business on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 and will offer customers an extensive tap list of Grist House beers, delicious Korean inspired food, a unique indoor space, and an outdoor area to enjoy. This location will bring a new Grist House experience to the Saxonburg community.
“We are honored to be part of this exceptional opportunity. Together, we aim to create something very unique that celebrates both the Grist House and Pocha by Kye-Won brands. We can’t wait to see where this partnership will take us.” said Kyle Mientkiewicz, co-owner of Grist House.
Brian Eaton, co-owner of Grist House, expressed enthusiasm about the new location, stating; “We are thrilled to be working with the Sprankle family and Pocha by Kye-Won on this exciting new opportunity. This partnership will bring a shared passion for great beer and food, creating an opportunity to offer something truly special to current and future Grist House fans.”
Pocha by Kye-Won’s chef/owner Kye-Won Doyle is thrilled to share this venture with friends Kyle and Brian. “Our restaurant and taproom is more than a place to eat, it’s a celebration of authentic Korean food, phenomenal beer, and all about community. I especially get excited about introducing Korean food to a novice. I want everyone walking through the doors to feel like they’re eating at my dining room table.”
Doug Sprankle, owner of Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market, states “We are looking forward to celebrating with our friends at Grist House and Pocha as they re-open after total remodel renovations we have made to our market for their area. From the new tap system to expansion of the kitchen and adding multiple restrooms, the new corner of our Market will surely lift a glass and give a toast to a fine local craft brew! Cheers!”
