U-20 World Wrestling Championships: Mansi Lather Wins Silver, Tanvi Magdum and Komal Claim Bronze



The Indian women wrestlers made a great show in the U-20 World Wrestling Championships by winning three more medals. Mansi Lather secured a silver medal in the 68 kg category, whereas Tanvi Magdum and Komal grabbed bronze medals in the 57 and 59 kg categories, respectively.

Mansi Lather won a silver medal in the 68 kg category due to her failure to win gold in the tight race against Chenling Song of China. Mansi lost the game with a score of 1-2 and secured the silver medal instead.

Tanvi Magdum secured a bronze medal after defeating Agnia Krakowska of Canada with a score of 10-4 in the 57 kg category. Komal showed a splendid performance in the 59 kg category by beating Ada Balazs of Hungary with a score of 5-2 and won the bronze medal.

With these three medals, the medal campaign of Indian women wrestlers at the Under-20 World Wrestling Championships has been further strengthened. Mansi’s silver and Tanvi and Komal’s bronze medals are significant achievements for the Indian team.
