PRESS RELEASE / September 11, 2026 (Ipswich, MA) – True North Ale Company announces the release of OkJOEberfest Marzen Lager, joining our Festbier for the annual Oktoberfest celebration.
Brewed in the Oktoberfest tradition, OkJOEberfest drinks full and malt-rich, with flavors and aromas of fresh bread toast, and rich caramel. A subtle herbal hop spice leads to a clean finish. Our multi-year growler hoisting champion Big Joe D collaborated on the creation and brewing of this beer and his image is featured on the can label. On Saturday, September 26th True North Ales will celebrate Oktoberfest at its Taproom in Ipswich, MA.
Our family friendly event features amazing German beer and food, giant pretzels, a beer marionette, cider donuts, and much more. This year we will serve as an official venue for the US Steinholding Competition! Break out your lederhosen and dirndls and join us!
OkJOEberfest Marzen Lager is available now in better beer stores on Boston’s North Shore and in the True North Ales Taproom.
