The design and production talents of London motion studio weareseventeen are on full display in their latest work for Swiss watch brand Tissot, a tightly edited ode to the catalytic powers of time-induced pressure.
Gary Roberts, director/CD at weareseventeen: “The 24-second rule in basketball is a fundamental catalyst for tension, excitement, and drama. To bring this to life, we crafted a multidisciplinary film that weaves a mixture of 2D and 3D animation, archive footage, and new live-action to capture the anticipation, the despair and of course the elation of the game.
“The 24-second rule in basketball is a fundamental catalyst for tension, excitement, and drama.”
“The film honors [six-time NBA all-star] Tony Parker’s greatest moments, celebrates icons Sabrina Ionescu and Damien Lillard, and unveils the new Supersport Watch along with the Tissot x NBA shot clock design.
“All 2D and 3D animation, as well as post, were handled by our team in London. This project also gave us the opportunity to venture into a Paris studio to capture the photography for the campaign’s key visuals and direct Tony Parker’s performance and voice-over narration.”
