I didn’t think I’d read as many books this month as I did. Mostly because one of them I should have DNFed, but I thought surely it would get better. That was a lie; it didn’t get better. Instead, it sat on almost good for like near three hundred pages. On top of that, but better news, my Ma was here for a short little visit. So there were like three days with no reading as we ran around, did things, and stuff. As it turns out, I did in fact read a crap ton of books despite how busy I got with things and stuff. How I read eight books in July, I have no idea. But I was at the pool a lot and on our patio. Guess I did more than nap!

I did the Summer Slasher Readathon this last week. Read a bonus book and finished one and a half off the TBR I had planned. Considering I worked most of the readathon, not too bad. Though the two physical books I have left, I think I’ll keep as my August TBR.
