Parallels has released version 20.2.1 of its Parallels Desktop for Mac virtualization software with some macOS-specific bug fixes. The update resolves an issue that caused the installation process to get stuck on Macs with CrowdStrike installed, fixes a bug that prevented creating x86_64 Windows 10 virtual machines on Macs with M4 chips, and addresses a failure to revert to previously made snapshots for macOS virtual machines running on Apple silicon Macs. Parallels Desktop 20.2.1 also addresses a crash when hovering the mouse over the Coherence mode icon and enables system administrators to require Single Sign-On activation for Business and Enterprise Edition installations using MDM configuration profiles.
