HomeView’s small footprint isn’t necessarily a negative as a larger display would risk taking over a room’s interior design. As it stands now, the device doesn’t come close to overpowering its surroundings.
My second impression was that HomeView looks like a giant Apple Watch with a stainless steel hinge (supports tilt) and aluminum domed speaker base setup that is clearly inspired by the iMac G4. From an appearance standpoint, which is very important for a device that installed in the home, HomeView receives an A+. It’s a device that is worthy of being shown off in the home.
