You know when you get one of those trips to remember for the rest of your life?
I certainly count my long glamping weekend with the doodledog and Thomas to the Westmorland Dales – the northern extension of the Yorkshire Dales (and in fact, in Cumbria!) – as a truly brilliant one to look fondly back on.
I simply had to make a quick Instagram reel to give you a sneak preview of my experience of how amazing the trip to Kirby Stephen and the Westmorland Dales were. Activities in the weekend included:
- A walk along the Eden Viaducts Round Trail
- Climbing the epic Nine Standards Rigg – a 662-metre ridge known for its mysterious cairns at the top
- A wonderful stay in a shepherd’s hut style glamping experience – complete with hot tub!
- An exploration of the main attractions of the Yorkshire Dales including Hadraw Force and, of course, the Wensleydale Cheese Factory!
Without much further ado, check out my reels and I’ll share with you my full experience of my trip later.
