It’s summertime, which seems like a good excuse to go walkabout for a few days. I’m going to walk south towards the sea, sleep under the stars, and see what happens along the way.
I thought a fun way to document it would be using my (non-existent) painting skills to rustle up some (rubbish) watercolours whenever I might ordinarily be tempted to snap a photo for Insta.
So what if I paint a bunch of cards and pop them in the post to anyone who’d like to receive something handwritten through the post that isn’t a bill or a parking fine? (Only UK postal addresses, I’m afraid.)
Would you like a postcard from me? It seems like a chance to raise some money for a good cause, so I’m going to request a donation for the Rivers Trust in exchange for a unique piece of art which will definitely be worth less than that in 100 years time. What’s not to love…?
