About SoftInWay, Inc.
SoftInWay is a global leader in turbomachinery design, engineering, and education, providing software, engineering services, and training to companies in the energy, aerospace, and propulsion industries. Headquartered in Burlington, MA with a worldwide client base, our team combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, innovation-driven culture. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help us build the team that builds the future of turbomachinery technology.
About the Role
SoftInWay is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting for our Burlington, MA headquarters while also supporting broader HR functions. This is an on-site role for someone who enjoys wearing two hats — sourcing and closing great candidates, and helping shape the employee experience once they’re in the door. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and company leadership to attract technical and business talent, and you’ll partner with the HR team on onboarding, employee records, policy administration, and day-to-day HR operations. This role is a great fit for someone who wants ownership over the full talent lifecycle — not just filling requisitions, but helping build the people processes behind them.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles across engineering, sales, and corporate functions, from intake meeting through offer and close
- Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and networking within the turbomachinery/engineering community
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess qualifications and culture fit
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build interview scorecards, and coordinate interview panels
- Extend offers and manage negotiations in coordination with HR and department leadership
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date requisition and candidate/applicant data tracking
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring or hard-to-fill roles
- Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health) to leadership
- Represent SoftInWay’s employer brand at career fairs, university partnerships, and industry events as needed
HR Support:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and first-week logistics
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data entry
- Support administration of benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and other routine HR processes
- Assist with employee relations matters, policy questions, and documentation as needed
- Support the rollout of HR programs and initiatives (performance reviews, engagement surveys, policy updates)
- Contribute to a positive on-site culture and employee experience at the Burlington office
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting; HR generalist experience is a strong plus
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or software roles preferred
- Working knowledge of core HR functions (onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, compliance)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work directly with hiring managers and leadership
- High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple open requisitions at once
- Discretion in handling confidential employee information
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Must be able to work on-site at our Burlington, MA office
- A Wendy Rhoades view of talent recruitment – if you understand the reference, that’s a plus!
Why SoftInWay?
- Be part of a growing, global engineering software company at the forefront of turbomachinery innovation
- Own the full talent lifecycle — from sourcing to onboarding to ongoing HR support
- Collaborative, on-site culture with direct access to leadership
- Competitive salary and benefits package
