Booshle G.’s new single “MIRACLE” celebrates a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love – Texx and the City

At the end of 2025 I met Booshle G. in a Kloof Street coffee shop in Cape Town to chat about his upcoming album. Two-and-a-half hours few by as we spoke about his upbringing in Uitenhage, his short-lived hip-hop career (more on this one day), and his total surprise at how “Take Me Home” resonated with so many South Africans around the world.

Fast forward a year and Booshle has obliterated several key milestones, and his latest single “MIRACLE” arrives off the back of his first sell-out UK and European tour.

Teaming up Aidin Nortje, Devon Murray and David Balshaw, “MIRACLE” asks, what if the person who changes everything arrives when you least expect it? Moving from uncertainty to wholehearted belief, the track expertly captures the courage it takes to stop protecting your heart, let go of fear and surrender to something that feels rare and undeniable.

“At its heart, this song represents taking a leap of faith and not allowing fear to get in the way of your freedom,” Booshle G. tells me. “I want people to feel inspired to jump into the things that excite them, and to remember that it isn’t about living perfectly, but about living purposefully. And falling in love doesn’t always have to be a scary thing.”

I’ve always been just that little bit more cynical than everyone else, but something about Booshle G.’s optimism is hopefully infectious and makes me trust the process, almost.
