A Bilt Palladium cardholder says the card generated at least three points per dollar on much of their spending and $1,810 in redeemed benefits, apart from points. The benefits included hotel, ride and flight credits used during the year. The card’s annual fee is $495.
The card earns 2 points per dollar on everyday purchases and up to 1.25 points per dollar on rent and mortgage payments without a transaction fee. The account also offers $400 in annual hotel credits, split into two $200 statement credits for eligible bookings of at least two nights, plus $200 in Bilt Cash each year. The cardholder said both hotel credits were used.
The $1,810 total included $600 applied to hotel stays, roughly $360 in Lyft, Grubhub and Walgreens discounts, a $150 Blacklane credit and two $350 BLADE credits. The cardholder said the BLADE bookings would not otherwise have been a likely purchase. Bilt Cash above $100 expires at each calendar year’s end, while an authorized user costs $95 annually.
The $495 fee is offset only when credits replace purchases a cardholder would otherwise make; unused perks are not equivalent to cash. Bilt Cash above $100 expires at year-end, leaving a deadline to use the balance.
