We’re half way through 2025 already, can you believe it? 2025 is seeing a great resurgence in the use of the site, and i’m thrilled to see it! it’s great to see so many of you still engaging with the site. This year our YouTube – now in it’s 4th full year – celebrates its biggest year yet with more than 2million views, 10k subscribers and yet more ‘toilet winks’, (IFYKYK). Even the site continues to attract around 150k viewers a month and our audience just continues to grow.
A personal ask
As I do every year, I ask for your support, I don’t do it often, and I do it to keep the site ad-free, allowing the beautiful imagery from this industry shine through. Storing, researching and delivering content is labour and cost-intensive. Because there is no advertising, there’s no revenue incoming from the site, so I ask on your kind support to keep things going. If you are able to donate – whatever amount – it all gets funnelled back in to the site, to keep the site full of content. And I thank you personally for your kind support.
Every time I work on TheDesignAir, I’m in awe of the following it has received, both on the site, on social and now on YouTube too. I’ve been running the site for over 14 years now, following and reporting on the passenger experience. It’s always a pleasure to work so closely with airlines, design studios, airports and innovators across the globe, helping promote innovation and advancement in one of the most addictive industries in the world.
Every year I’m surprised and delighted by the support both individuals and studios provide towards this site, and without them… without you, it wouldn’t be possible. 2025 has already seen a wave of new reveals, developments and launches, and we’re only half way through the year!
