Turkish Airlines awards are mostly uncompetitive mileage requirement wise (they used to be great) as they now charge for each segment, and you always end up transiting in Istanbul.
Now, Miles&Smiles has decided to reduce the award pricing in both economy and business for travel between Turkey and Oceania.

- Promotion Award Economy: Reduced from 60,000 to 50,000
- Promotion Award Business: Reduced from 140,000 to 100,000
- Standard Award Economy: Reduced from 100,000 to 80,000
- Standard Award Business: Reduced from 210,000 to 180,000

Conclusion
The pricing of Turkish Airlines awards doesn’t make much sense for anyone other than those traveling to/from Istanbul, as they are priced per segment.
It is great, however, that they have realized that the pricing from Turkey to Oceania didn’t make much sense and adjusted it.
