PREDICTIONS: For two months, ‘Bama has been mocked as a 2-seed in the Midwest or East. And that sounds about right. I do think there is an outside shot that Florida’s ranking could surprise people though — they have as good a case as any for the overall No. 2, and certainly better than someone like Duke or Houston.

And what do you do if Tennessee actually wins? How do you justify keeping them off a 1-line, given the historic difficulty of the SEC? Our conference certainly is not making it easy on the committee though.
