Alabama Weather Update: Scattered Strong Storms Continue; Tornado Watch Remains In Effect For Extreme SW Alabama
While there are no severe warnings in effect currently, scattered strong storms continue across the southern half of the state. A tornado watch remains in effect for southeast Alabama, and additional brief tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Steady moderate to occasionally heavy rain will limit the severe weather threat over the northern half of the state today.
