The OWO Crowned World’s Most “PINNED” Venue by The Pinnacle Guide

The OWO (formerly the Old War Office) has firmly established itself as a global epicentre for exceptional drinks experiences, achieving an unprecedented milestone with a collective five PINs from the esteemed Pinnacle Guide. This prestigious recognition highlights the world-class quality and innovation found within The OWO and Raffles London at The OWO’s diverse bar offerings.

Contributing to this remarkable achievement are two distinguished venues within Raffles London at The OWO:

  • The Spy Bar, located in rooms that functioned as high-security storage vaults for falsified identity papers and mission reports of MI5 and MI6 agents, this bar is a deeply historic and sophisticated destination with a hint of the illicit, The Spy Bar pays homage to the spies whose secrets were guarded by the walls of the Old War Office. This destination bar has garnered an impressive 2 PINs for its expertly crafted cocktails, intriguing ambiance, and exceptional service.
  • The Guards Bar, a classic and elegant space also part of Raffles London at The OWO, has been awarded 1 PIN, celebrated for its timeless cocktails, refined atmosphere, and impeccable attention to detail. Overlooking the official gates to Buckingham Palace this bar pays homage to the Household Cavalry who can be seen on horseback through the large oak-framed windows.

Further solidifying The OWO’s standing is the independently operated Kioku Sake Bar, which has also earned 2 PINs for its extensive sake selection, innovative sake-based cocktails, and authentic Japanese-inspired environment within The OWO.

The Pinnacle Guide’s rigorous evaluation and PIN system recognize bars demonstrating consistently exceptional standards across cocktail quality, service, atmosphere, and overall experience. The concentration of five PINs within The OWO, across both its Raffles-managed venues and its independent outlets like Kioku Sake Bar, underscores the destination’s commitment to delivering unparalleled beverage experiences to a global audience.

Shalini Hinduja of the Hinduja Group, owners of The OWO, comments; “We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud of this prestigious recognition from The Pinnacle Guide. This achievement is a testament to the passion, creativity, and unwavering dedication of our talented bar teams at The Spy Bar and The Guards Bar within Raffles London at The OWO, as well as the exceptional offering at Kioku Sake Bar within our iconic building.
