Grok 3 – Elon Musk and xAi’s latest AI model is the talk of the town these days. From Andrej Karpathy to tech influencers, everyone is talking about the capabilities of this new model. Initially, access was limited to Premium+ users on X, leaving many eager to try it out. However, Elon Musk recently made Grok 3 available to all X users, including its DeepSearch and Think features. Keeping that in mind, I decided to share my experience of using Grok 3 along with 5 Grok 3 prompts that can help you make your daily work easy. So le’s begin.

Task 1: Newsletter Draft

Prompt: “I am writing an AI newsletter. Give me all the major updates that happened between 15th of Feb to 22nd Feb. I can only add 10 updates, so give me the most important ones.”

Observation:

Grok 3 analyzed 143 resources and delivered the report in just 2 minutes. If I were to manually search for these updates, it would have taken me at least 3 hours. Along with the updates, Grok 3 provided concise descriptions, which made it easier for me to understand each development. Additionally, the updates were prioritized effectively, likely based on how frequently they were cited across various websites.

Task 2: Analyzing PDF

Prompt:This is a research paper by Anthropic – Which Economic Tasks are Performed with AI?
Evidence from Millions of Claude Conversations. Go through it and give me the points I can share with my Software Development team. Highlight the parts where the focus is on Coding. Add the page numbers where I can find relevant graphs / images to show my team.”

The original research paper was 38 pages long and covered various job roles beyond software development. If I were to read the paper and extract the information relevant to me, it would have taken at least 2 days to fully understand the content. Grok 3 accomplished this in just a few seconds—and even provided the exact page numbers where each fact was mentioned!

You should definitely try Grok 3 for summarizing PDFs, reports, and research papers. GPT-4o and even o3-mini struggle with summarizing PDFs effectively, making Grok 3 a great option for such tasks.Task 3: Image Analysis

Grok 3 is quiet apt apt for image analysis, it quickly understood the image and gave me the summary in a few seconds. Many times we are stuck in meetings where complicated graphs are shown – if you face issues in understanding any graph/dashboard – this feature can save your life.

Task 4: Competitor Analysis

Prompt: “I have a blog on Data Science and Generative AI. https://www.analyticsvidhya.com/blog/. Look at top 5 websites that are my competition on Google Search and give me a detailed report on what I can do to outperform them.”

Grok did an excellent job identifying the top competitors in the Data Science and Generative AI niche. The analysis was thorough, covering not only the strengths and weaknesses of each competitor but also providing actionable strategies to outperform them. The suggestions were well-structured and tailored to improve content quality, SEO, user engagement, and unique value propositions.

One of the standout features of Grok’s analysis was its ability to break down complex competitor strategies into clear, actionable steps. For example, it highlighted the importance of targeting long-tail keywords, leveraging community engagement, and offering unique tools and resources—areas where competitors like Kaggle and Towards Data Science either excel or fall short.

Additionally, Grok provided a detailed 3-month implementation plan, which is incredibly useful for prioritizing efforts and tracking progress. The inclusion of KPIs for measuring success, such as organic traffic growth and keyword ranking improvements, adds a practical dimension to the strategy.

The inclusion of weekly tasks, resources, and milestones makes it actionable and adaptable, ensuring a comprehensive learning journey.
