New Dashboard editor, event segmentation in Data Query, saving metrics, attribution… Here are the latest Analytics Suite Delta features.
Dashboards: a new dataset editor
We have overhauled the dataset editor of the Dashboard module to maximise the power of Analytics Suite Delta. Here are some of the new features: creation of custom datasets based on multiple sites; visitor, user and event segmentation (including multi-site datasets); sequenced segmentation or access to all properties and events of your data model.
Useful to know: to make it easier for you to get to grips with this new editor, we have based it entirely on Data Query 3 as well as Analytics Suite Delta’s segmentation module.
This new method of creating datasets is available in addition to the Send to Dashboard feature available in Explorer and Analytics Suite Delta’s Data Query 3.
Data Query: event segmentation now available
You can now create an event segment in addition to the other parameters already available: visits, visitors and users. To access it, open the advanced segmentation and select the event type from the drop-down menu. With a single click, you can create a segment that only shows events that meet your specified criteria.
Metrics: added backup feature
You can now save your metrics on the fly and access them more easily from any of our interfaces. You can also reuse them as templates to create other metrics. To simplify the use of metrics, you can name them, add a description, associate them with a custom display type (e.g. percentage, duration, etc.) or share them throughout your organisation.
Navigation: new browsing mode Before a page
The Before a Page navigation mode is now available in Analytics Suite Delta’s Explorer module. This function provides an overview of all the paths taken by your users on your different platforms to reach a page of your choice. This fully interactive visualisation allows you to explore up to 15 pages previously viewed by your users before viewing the page of your choice.
Attribution: improving the user experience
We have optimised several aspects of the attribution analysis:
- We have refined the user experience of the Sequences analysis table to make it more user-friendly.
- We now limit the tables to 20 results at a time to offer you better visibility, and ability to consult the next 20 results or the 20 previous ones.
- You can now select the distinct touchpoints option in the bar chart of the Conversions analysis.
