Registration Opens: SIGGRAPH Asia Heads to Kuala Lumpur December 1-4


Registration is now open for SIGGRAPH Asia 2026, the computer graphics conference and trade show where animation and VFX researchers, studio technologists, educators and students get inspired, gain insight, experience cutting-edge technology, and share their work with the entire community. The first SIGGRAPH Asia held in Malaysia, the conference runs December 1-4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This year’s theme: Weaving the Future.

Early-bird rates hold until 23:59 Kuala Lumpur time on Monday, September 28. Full Access runs $875 for ACM members and $975 for non-members at that rate, rising to $1,225 and $1,325 onsite. ACM student members pay $475 early. Enhanced Access runs $550 early and excludes Courses, Technical Communications, Technical Papers and the reception. Exhibit and Experience Access, covering the show floor, Birds of a Feather and Exhibitor Talks, is $20 early. All figures are in US dollars.

Frank Guan of the Singapore Institute of Technology chairs the conference. “SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 will mark a new milestone as it takes place in Kuala Lumpur for the first time, expanding the conference’s footprint and welcoming fresh perspectives,” he said. “With strong support from both local and international partners, we are confident that SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 will be a memorable and successful event.”

Markus Gross, chief scientist at Walt Disney Studios and head of DisneyResearch|Studios, delivers one keynote, on Technology to Create the Magic. Andrea Vedaldi, who leads computer vision and machine learning research at the University of Oxford and at Meta, will deliver a second.

Two submission windows remain open: Birds of a Feather until August 12 and Real-Time Live! until August 20. Technical Papers, Art Papers, the Art Gallery, Emerging Technologies, XR, Courses, the Computer Animation Festival, Technical Communications, Posters, Workshops and the Educator’s Forum are closed. Programming content announcements will begin next month.
