
GKIDS is bringing Makoto Shinkai’s your name. back to Canadian theatres this August. Celebrating the film’s 10th anniversary, it will be screened with a new 4K remaster. The movie was originally released in Japan in 2016, with Funimation giving it a theatrical release in Canada the following year. The film was an immense success in Japan and even wound up making the Canadian home video charts upon its disc release.

The film will screen open on August 14th with previews the night before. It will be available dubbed into English and in Japanese with English subtitles.
