A corporate worker aiding the demon lord in making the world a better place.
In many ways this show seemed like it should suck, but I actually quite enjoyed it. It’s a very wholesome show where a man leads a miserable life and is brought to another world, but instead of being bitter and getting revenge and playing with all the ladies he still tries to be a responsible employee and treat other people well, and it works out better this time since he has a good boss (the demon lord). He treats other people with respect and they do the same in turn.
I do always find it funny when shows praise the virtues of salarymen because as an American… they all sure seem like a bunch of suckers to me lol.
- Storytelling – B – All of the arcs were engaging and contributed to the whole.
- Voice – B – Unique part is the salaryman aspect.
- Characters – B – Simple but all the main characters have something interesting about them (like red adjusting to his culture of not being naked all the time)
- Attention Grab – B – I consistently looked forward to each episode.
- Production – C – It’s fine.
- Overall – B-
Recommendations – Your company doesn’t love you, they aren’t your family, and you should only work what they pay you for and use all your vacation time
