After Mimi witnessed the disappearance of Seiran in battle, it’s obvious that this would be a rather downer episode. After all, how will Ari react when she finds out the sad truth about Seiran?
At last, everyone came back as Sheena went to find if Mimi came back in one piece. When she saw Mimi covered in blood, she broke the bad news. She said that Seiran didn’t make it. As expected, Sheena tries to comfort her after welcoming Mimi back.

As expected, Ari gets the day off to do some cleaning. It’s obvious she is holding her feelings back, although it’s clear that Ari is holding her feelings back, although she is not taking it well. When she got into her room, she started writing something as she couldn’t bring herself to clean.

Before getting to the sad stuff, there is a flashback with some intimate moments between Seiran and Ari. Seiran is trying to wake Ari up and keep her awake. After all, they have some homework to do. When they met up with Sheena and Mimi, revealed that they hadn’t finished their homework. They decided not to eat breakfast together, as Seiran and Ari needed to finish their homework. Later that day, they of course talked about how much Sheena had changed, probably thanks to Mimi, as they saw the clutter as they didn’t have room. Funny how Ari wants to pile stuff on one bed so Seiran will have to sleep with her.

As they cleaned things up, Ari saw Seiran trying on a hair clip she got during Gratitude Day. Of course, she puts it on Ari’s hair, thinking it looks better. This eventually leads to Ari’s collection of cosmetics, as she wants Seiran to put a special nail polish on Ari’s toenails. Funny how she says she never wore nail polish as she lived in the slums. Surprisingly, it turned out well, and Ari wants to do Seiran’s, since if it doesn’t match, what is the point. Of course, Ari is the reason Seiran wears earrings, as she wants to try new things with her. At least it’s a palate cleanser of what’s to come soon.

It’s clear that Ari is not taking Seiran’s death well. After all, she hoped Seiran wouldn’t be so brave that she wouldn’t sacrifice herself and still be alive. It really shows when Mimi and Sheena check on her. It’s clear that Ari dozed off, so that she didn’t make any progress whatsoever. Sheena only prepared the textbooks, and that is all, as Ari hides how she actually feels. Even during the prayer session, Ari hesitated putting down the flower as Mimi took out a necklace Ari gave to Seiran. Mimi wanted to give it back to Ari as she revealed she had made a promise not to cry somewhere without her. However, Mimi knows that having Ari hold back her feelings. Until Mimi tries to convince Ari that it’s okay to cry and be sad.

That said, it’s sad to see Ari cry as she mourns for losing her friend. Even Fran and Omi are not happy about it, even though it’s hard to stop Seiran from getting onto the battlefield. That is until the prayer session is over that Mimi out of nowhere asks Ari if she wants to see Seiran again. Mimi says she knows the resurrection spell, but doesn’t that require a sacrifice?

I got a lot of questions, unless there is more that we don’t know about and whether it’s a good idea. Granted, Mimi can just cast the spell. The death part of it wouldn’t matter since she is immortal, but it will lead to Seiran facing the same fate as Mimi. Well, being forced to fight every battle and painfully regenerate. We get to find out if Mimi can pull it off next time. Then again, Ari said the idea of resurrecting Seiran is romantic, then maybe she might consider it, not knowing the consequences.
