In the first half of 2026 there were 28 new models announced for release this year. There was also a single model announced that will not be released until 2027. This is a significant increase over the 20 models from the first half of 2025.
From these 28 models, 9 models were announced during this year’s Watches and Wonders, up from 6 last year, and closer to the 11 models announced at the show in 2024.
Limited editions accounted for 40% of all of the halves’ announcements, with 11 different LE models, up slightly from the 10 LE models released during the same period last year. The significant difference is seen in the quantities of LE models produced, with the 11 LE models totaling just 633 units, with almost half of these coming from 2 models. This is a significant drop from last year’s first half LE units totaling 3,393, which was also a drop from the 2024 first half LE unit total of 5,888. This year there was only a single limited edition release with over 100 units and the average LE model was around 70 units.
