Hello and welcome to the first ever newsletter for the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Ambassador Network. We’re delighted to have launched this newsletter for our ambassador network, and we’ll be keeping you updated on all things apprenticeships on a timely basis via these newsletters.
You’ll be able to see the latest news around apprenticeships locally and nationally. What events are coming up that you can support, with some highlights from the network of what people have been supporting us with and any key updates from our side about our activity which could be of interest and help your organisations.
To start this first newsletter. The schools and colleges are now back, so our activities in school will soon start ramping up and we’ll be looking for volunteers from the network to support Kerry from our team with inspiring the younger generation around apprenticeships.
In these newsletters, you will see an events section where we’ll be listing all the events at local schools that we need support at. If you are able to kindly donate your time to support creating the county’s future workforce, please do contact us. We also have our Careers and Apprenticeship Roadshow event coming up on Thursday 16 October at the Sixways Stadium.
This event will bring together those interested in finding out more about apprenticeships to engage with us, and many local employers and training provider partners. This is one of our most attended events of the year, and a great chance to position your company to young people and families who are considering apprenticeships.
If you haven’t yet secured a space at the event for your organisation, there is still time to contact our team on the details at the bottom of this newsletter.
Alongside the main roadshow event, you will have all hopefully received an invite to join us prior to the event for the next gathering of the Ambassador Network. Come along to meet and engage with other ambassadors at one of our main events of the year.
For those of you familiar with our annual Apprenticeship awards, I’d also recommend you keep a lookout on our social media channels over the next few weeks, as we may have some very exciting news to share with you all.
