We’re officially bringing the Tank Series back!
Normally, I like to feature beautiful, mature systems that have had time to develop and truly show what they’re capable of. But every once in a while, you come across a build that’s so impressive in its infancy that you simply can’t wait to see where it goes.
And, to be completely honest, there was another reason I had to cover this one. I may never get the opportunity to see this tank again, and I had a very small window to make the drive up and film it. When I saw what Chris was putting together, I knew I couldn’t pass it up.
Chris Portale’s custom built tank immediately caught my attention. Even from the early photos and videos he shared during our initial conversations, his vision, attention to detail, and execution were evident. While this system is still in its infancy, the foundation and overall concept are already something special, and I’m genuinely excited to see where he takes it.
