You can make a difference and already have. Atlanta Public Radio reported that without Greg Palast’s investigation, Raphael Warnock likely would not have won Georgia’s 2020 Special Election for the U.S. Senate. We are non-partisan. Our goal was never to elect any particular candidate; it was to defend the fundamental principle that voters — not suppression tactics — should decide the outcome. Now we need to take that work national, because the story is bigger than one state.
This is not a partisan fight. It is the deliberate dismantling of democracy. Jim Crow has been resurrected, not in a hood and robe but as a cyborg made out of weaponized datasets and disinformation. While Department of Homeland Security agents terrorize our communities, their data is quietly being used to purge the voter rolls. And, as we’ve seen with similar purges in the past, it’s widely inaccurate and will have a partisan outcome.
This year, our work takes us state by state to document the policies that are making it harder to vote — from expanded voter-vigilante laws to reduced drop boxes and the massive purges fueled by hysteria over so-called “alien voters.” Our investigations take us into the communities where these laws hit real people. We’ll dig into the data and meet the voters who have been wiped from the rolls — making the problem impossible to ignore.
Here is what we are investigating now…
If you make a tax-deductible contribution to our foundation, we have several gifts — DVDs, books, even a film credit — as our thanks for your support. For more, visit our store.

DOGE is alive and well and purging voters.
An Executive Order from March gives the Department of Government Efficiency access to state voter files to search for supposedly “double” or “alien” voters — problems that don’t exist. This effectively revives Crosscheck and every trick that came with it. The requirement that all new registrants prove citizenship will hit hard. Thirty one million Americans register or re-register each year, yet twenty one million do not have citizenship papers on hand. Only thirty four percent of African Americans have passports.
These systems were never designed to verify voters; the effect of the new ID rules will be to strip eligible citizens of their voting rights. We need to expose what’s happening, stop it, and show voters how to navigate this new obstacle course. Just like we did in Georgia, we can help other states.
We’re working on the ground, state by state with our partners, which include Rev. Jesse Jackson and Santita Jackson of RainbowPUSH, LaTosha Brown of Black Voters Matter. Gerald Griggs of the Georgia NAACP, and Barbara Arnwine of the Transformative Justice Coalition. They distributed our award-winning documentary, Vigilantes Inc. across the country, to educate voters, and help them navigate the obstacles to voting and getting their ballots counted. They’re joining us again because the need is even greater now. When people understand what’s been done to suppress their voices, they’re more determined than ever to make sure their votes count.
Palast to Launch New, 6-Part Election Crime Video Series

This year, a foundation has offered to cover half the cost of producing a six-part series of short, social-friendly “Save Your Vote” videos. Our voting partners urgently need these to help educate voters — especially young voters — on how to protect their ballots and ensure they aren’t vulnerable to vote rustling.
Will you help fund these important educational videos to help save the 2026 election?
Dr. King once asked, “Where do we go from here.” His answer was that we must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope. If we can see today’s darkness without flinching, we can summon that same courage and pull democracy back from the brink.
This Giving Tuesday, we need your help to keep this work going. Every investigation requires time, travel, records, data, and long days in the field. If you’re able to give, it truly makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with us.
