HAPPY MONDAY AND HAPPY EARLY BIRD RELEASE DAY!! Sorry I’m so late, and absolutely NOT an early bird, but I just went on a couch cleaning and floor cleaning spree and it took a whole lot longer than I anticipated. That said, SO WORTH IT!! 🙂
Three things:
1.) I took advantage of Bath and Body works HUGE CANDLE DAY sale. I LOVE candles, and I have one going weekly. Makes the house smell so nice and has that warm glow. So I got a bunch of Christmas smelling ones – Sugared Pine Needles and The Perfect Christmas <— my absolute favorite), and sweet ones (like Fig & Brown Sugar or Blueberry sugar) fruity ones, and a few summer each smells too (like sunny coconut which supposedly is amazing). So each season has the perfect scents to go along with them. I can’t wait to get them!!
2.) Having dogs is fantastic!! They are the loves of my life, each and every one of them from my past and today, I couldn’t live without. My delight, and my whole heart. But HOLY MOLY are they messy!!!! Fur, sand, muddy paws, and my poor couch. My poor, once beautiful, once super comfortable, light grey couch. *sigh* And there’s no reason to replace it especially with my huge Great Dane that will totally destroy any couch we get. So… I bought couch covers that are easy to wash and look… nice. Nice enough, anyway. At least I can clean them a whole lot easier than pulling off all the cushion covers over and over again and then putting each one back on (which is its own huge struggle). So the covers should do the trick. Easy to clean, easy to replace if needed. Nice clean couch to lounge in. Dogs and all. I SHOULD have gotten the XXL ones (I got XL) but they’ll do.
3.) I’m halfway through “Remain” by Nicholas Sparks and M. Night Shyamalan and I’m absolutely loving it and have NO idea how it will end. Such a cozy, slow burn romance read, but a touch scary too!!!
