From a cold and wet year, the wine brings caponata and flashes of mint alongside licorice bullets, handfuls of blackberries and dark plums. There’s plenty of fruit depth, but it never feels heavy or overworked.
Ripples of spice weave through the palate, adding another layer to the wine’s composed shape and gentle persistence.
There’s something intriguing going on here. Rather than flexing its muscles, this Cabernet carries itself with restraint, offering a glimpse of what may be built with time.
