Oh my pancakes!
Last Tuesday, I got to celebrate the release of my second graphic novel in the Groucho the Grouchy Groundhog series. The title is The Terrifying Turnip Takeover. This is the result of literally decades of dreaming. Back in grade 5, I created my first comic, Squeak and Squeakette, based on a grouchy dog and inspired by none other than Garfield. I somehow never let the idea go and kept developing it over the years until it became an actual concept. A few years ago, I approached the amazing illustrator Tara J. Hannon and she agreed to take on the project! And today, we I get to witness the books manifesting.
