Maggie Sparks does NOT like swimming! It’s cold and wet and, worst of all, she’s not very good at it. So when Mum decides to sign her up for swimming lessons, Maggie is not happy. Thankfully, Maggie is a super powerful, super smart, super talented witch. She is determined to use her powers to get into the elite SHARKS swimming group and help her best friend, Arthur, along the way. All she needs is a little magic.

MY REVIEW

Maggie Sparks is one my favourite children’s characters in children’s books. I have read quite a few of Maggie Sparks books, because they have always been my favourite children’s funniest of books. I love how Maggie is a young girl witch, casting spells, with her magic wand. Maggie Sparks and the Swimming Pool Sharks is absolutely hilarious. I’m an adult and Maggie’s magic made me laugh so much. During swimming lessons, Maggie casts quite a few spells, one for her friend Arthur, and one for self, that don’t go according to plan, even the swimming coach gets freaked out by what she sees. Maggie Sparks is the best funny series for all little girls!
