Mark Your Calendars for These Upcoming Webinars!

Hello world!
Welcome to my kidlit blog, Blissfully Bookish. Summer break is over and I’ll be back with my usual Q&As and fun giveaways starting tomorrow. For now, I wanted to share three upcoming webinars
How to Submit to Agents and/or Editors (Without Losing Your Mind!)
There’s more than one path to success in children’s publishing, but figuring out which one to take can make your head spin. Should you query literary agents? Submit directly to editors? Do both? And how on earth are you supposed to know who’s actually looking for your kind of book? Add submission guidelines, wish lists, query letters, tracking spreadsheets, and the inevitable waiting… and suddenly you’re questioning every life decision you’ve ever made.
But fear not! I designed a webinar to address all these issues and questions.
In this practical and encouraging workshop, I’ll take the mystery out of the submission process and help writers understand their options. I’ll draw on my own publishing journey, including my experience going through three literary agents and publishing books both with and without agents. Along the way, I’ll share what I’ve learned about navigating the industry, finding the right publishing professionals, and choosing the submission path that makes the most sense for your work..
You’ll learn how to:
• Find agents and editors who are a good fit for your work
• Write compelling query letters and cover letters
• Prepare the materials you need to submit professionally
• Approach submissions strategically
• Make the most of conferences, pitch opportunities, and other ways to connect with industry professionals
• Navigate rejection without letting it derail your writing career
• Stay motivated and keep moving forward when the process gets frustrating
Most importantly, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the publishing paths available to you and a practical plan for your next steps. Whether you’re preparing to submit your first manuscript or you’ve already been querying and want to rethink your approach, this workshop will give you concrete tools, realistic expectations, and an encouraging roadmap for navigating the road to publication—without losing your mind along the way!
