MY REVIEW
There is much more to this lovely story, The Invisibles, by the talented storyteller Susie Bower. This page-turning story for 9 to 11 year olds, is about four friends and one terrible mistake. I love any stories that include magic. Merlin, who wears a mirrored cloak, lives in a magical kingdom. My favourite part is by boat, Merlin, visited Library Island. Merlin’s friend, Vincent, is jealous of Merlin’s Magic. I loved THE BOOK OF SECRETS. Merlin ordered the book to open, and the book creaked open, with the book reading to Merlin and Vincent, but the story that is magically read out to them isn’t the best of stories. My favourite lines. The bookshelves vibrated. Every Book stamped and muttered. Stop writing, Merlin ordered the pen. A pair of oars lay in the bottom of the boat. He ordered them: Row. The oars rose and settled into the rowlocks on each side of the boat. With these brilliant magical line’s written by Susie Bower, I do hope that you all will be glued to every page of The Invisibles as much as I have been.
