Day To Cruise 2025 Brings Custom Cars and Trucks to Shelbyville

Shelbyville Filled with Custom Rides

From the moment the gates opened, the fairgrounds were packed with vehicles representing nearly every corner of the custom automotive world.

Rows of slammed mini trucks sat beside towering lifted diesels, while beautifully restored classics shared space with modern muscle cars, custom SUVs and daily drivers that owners had transformed into show-quality builds. Every aisle had another vehicle worth stopping to admire, making it easy to spend hours walking the grounds.

Some owners focused on subtle modifications and factory-inspired styling, while others went all-in with custom paint, air ride suspension, billet accessories and detailed engine compartments that showcased years of hard work.

As expected, custom trucks were the stars of the weekend.

Lifted pickups sporting oversized wheels and aggressive tires drew plenty of attention, while lowered street trucks impressed spectators with flawless bodywork, polished suspension components and creative fabrication. Mini trucks, OBS builds and modern full-size customs all had their place on the show field, giving truck enthusiasts plenty of inspiration for their own projects.

One of the best parts of the weekend was seeing owners gathered around their trucks, swapping stories, sharing build ideas and talking about what’s next for their rides.

More Than Just a Car Show

Day to Cruise has always been about more than trophies.

The event brought together automotive clubs, families and friends who all share the same passion for custom vehicles. Vendors offered apparel, automotive accessories, performance parts and detailing products, while food vendors kept everyone fueled throughout the weekend.

That relaxed, welcoming atmosphere is a big reason why so many participants continue making Day to Cruise part of their annual show schedule.
