Vitrum Arte: experiencing the art of making
During the workshop, guests had the opportunity to discover one of the techniques that makes it possible to personalise a Valcucine kitchen: Vitrum Arte.
After exploring the different stages of the manual process, architects and interior designers were invited to create their own design, inspired by one of three proposed themes — luxury, freedom and wonder — and to interpret it through their individual creative and design sensibilities.
It was a moment of experimentation in which every gesture became an opportunity for personal expression, bringing design, craftsmanship and imagination into dialogue.
The designs created during the workshop will return to their authors transformed into Vitrum Arte artworks, hand-inlaid at Valcucine: unique pieces preserving the memory of the experience and the creativity of each participant.
A shared heritage of creativity
The journey of Valcucine Wunderkammer continues to build an international collection of works created through encounters with professionals from different cultures, backgrounds and creative perspectives.
Alongside the works created during the events in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Turin, Frankfurt, Berlin, London, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, New York, Rome, Valencia and Barcelona, the pieces conceived in Szentendre will also take part in the final competition scheduled for the end of the year.
The prize will be a journey to Venice, where the winner will have the opportunity to visit Valcucine and discover the network of artisans who collaborate with the company, entering the heart of the heritage of skills and expertise that makes it possible to transform an idea into a work of art.
