Christian rap artist K3hlab is a versatile artist with a West Coast sound. He’s part of the Rapzilla Distro family. Get to know him a bit with this Fast 5 Q&A & interview.
For those who don’t know you, who are you, and why do you create music?
My name is K3hlab. I’m a rapper, and I use the term Christian rapper, but to be honest, I like to think I’m just a rapper who makes Christian music. I make music because it’s therapy. It is a way for me to minister and worship while also giving others an opportunity to be ministered to. At the end of the day, it’s ministry, but it’s still my therapy.

What is the one song that best represents your sound?
The two songs that represent my sound the most are my latest release, “Maturity” featuring Xay Hill, and my last single, “iPraise.” Both songs represent me because I feel like I have two styles, not just one. I sing rap as much as I’m still just a kid from the bay, even at the age of 31.
What’s your favorite part about being a creative?
I think the act of making the music. I think just vibing and creating is therapy for me.
What’s the hardest part about being a creative?
The hardest part for me is definitely consistency.
What’s your plan for 2025?
Right now, I’m so blessed to be a part of Rapzilla, I think it’s about finishing my album and just being consistent overall.
