It’s that time of year again! The Newburyport Holiday House Tour 2024 is next week on Saturday December 14 from 10-4. In 2020 they turned the tour into an outdoor event which was hugely creative and successful. They really know how to put on a great tour – indoors or out. Combine that with historic New England architecture and it’s a great day. Plus, there is some great holiday shopping to be done in the city!
The tour benefits the Anna Jacques Hospital Aid Association. With close to 200 members, the “Aid” is comprised of energetic, dedicated individuals whose goal is to raise funds in support of its community hospital through signature events and programs. Since 1888, the Aid has made a tremendous difference and has provided millions of dollars for mission critical needs.”
Here are some of my favorite images I’ve taken of the Holiday House Tours past. As is typical of New England weather in December, we’ve had it all at the house tour. One year it was a lovely mid-60’s, in 2020 (the outdoor tour) it was pouring rain. It’s been freezing and snowing. And yet, it’s always fun!
