Is convicted felon Donald J. Trump a criminal? Of course. He violates the law daily while ignoring the Constitution, awarding no bid contracts at will to his friends and associates, and milks the U.S. Treasury to fund his personal whims, interests and corruption.
About what we should expect from a immoral, corrupt man who occupies the White House as a wannabe fascist dictator. When current polls show more than 60 percent of Republican voters feel Trump is “unqualified” and “unqualified” to lead America, a sane person might think those concerns wouldl be shared by the MAGA Maggot GOP members of Congress.
Even MAGA stalwarts like former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Former Fox news propagandist Tucker Carlson have left their party in anger over Trump.
Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Monday said she’s “done” with the Republican Party, which she said has turned into the “America LAST” party.
Her comments came after right-wing commentator and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said he was done with the party after voting Republican his entire life.
Carlson called the GOP “immoral” and said it’s “not loyal to the United States.”
Greene agreed.
“Tucker is not the only one who is done supporting the Republican Party,” she wrote on X, saying she speaks for “A LOT” of people who “are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country.”

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Saturday dropped a telling sign that she and Tucker Carlson could be planning to start a new political party in the wake of their very public breakups with Donald Trump and the GOP.
Greene shared a picture to her social media feed showing her and her husband, Brian Glenn, sitting at a wooden table with Carlson at his studio in Maine.
The group is joined by two noteworthy faces: Rep. Thomas Massie, the Kentucky Republican who lost a primary battle against a Trump-backed opponent after he and Greene pushed for the release of the Epstein files; and Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center who abruptly resigned from his post in March in protest of the president’s Iran war.
Massie and Kent are joined by their wives, Carolyn Moffa and Heather Kent, respectively.
Like Greene, Carlson, Massieand Kent are among the most prominent conservative critics of a conflict that’s unpopular with a majority of Americans.
“We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,” wrote Greene, once a staunch MAGA supporter who has since deemed the movement to be “all a lie” following months of feuding with the president.
“Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center.
The movement has begun.”
Few outside of the right-wing extremists who dominate the GOP bought into the MAGA lies. Trump, riddled with dementia, has told so many lies so often that the truth is never available.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who ran against (and lost to) Trump in 2016, told an interviewer:
“I’m gonna do something I haven’t done for the entire campaign for those of you all who’ve traveled with me all across the country, I’m gonna tell you what I really think of Donald Trump. This man is a pathological liar, he doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies, he lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And in a pattern that is straight out of a psychology text book, his response is to accuse everyone else of lying. He accuses everyone on that debate stage of lying. And it’s simply a mindless yell. Whatever he does, he accuses everyone else of doing. The man cannot tell the truth but he combines it with being a narcissist. A narcissist at a level I don’t think this country has ever seen. Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, “Dude, what’s your problem?’ Everything in Donald’s world is about Donald. And he combines being a pathological liar – and I say pathological because I actually think Donald, if you hooked him up to a lie detector test, he could say one thing in the morning, one thing at noon and one thing in the evening, all contradictory and he’d pass the lie detector test each time. Whatever lie he’s telling at that minute, he believes it. But the man is utterly amoral. Let me finish this, please. The man is utterly amoral. Morality does not exist for him.”
Cruz, however, became an ally of Trump, one of many Republicans who joined what became the MAGA Cult. They, like Trump, abandoned morality and honesty and fell lockstep into his rabid followers.
We saw the same thing happen Monday when two GOP Senators abandoned their demands that corrupt Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche provide them, in writing, guarantees that an illegal $1.8 billion “slush fund” to benefit criminals convicted and imprisoned for their part in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Riot driven by Trump be eliminated along with expanded immunity for Trump, his family, and cohorts for tax fraud.
They backed down and let Blanche provide two one-page statements, one vague and signed and the other unsigned that still provided immunity.
Their capitulations brought an angry response from Lawrence O’Donnell on his “Last Word” telecast late Monday night.
Will Blanche, after confirmation, go ahead and give Trump the $1.8 billion in taxpayer funds to use for his personal wishes? Of course he will.
